The White Rose was a group of students who dared to speak the truth and openly protest Nazi Germany policies and fascism in the early 1940's. They were outraged at the number of German citizens who acquiesced and did nothing to resist the practices of Hitler and the Third Reich. They were relentless in their attempts to awaken the German people to what was going on around them.
There are many similarities between those devoted and courageous students and the people in the 9/11 Truth movement. Like the White Rose, many members of the 9/11 Truth movement are not leftists or even political, and are driven to action by humanitarian and moral obligation. We share a similar struggle some 60 years later. We are on a mission to wake up America and the world. We honor the memory and legacy of The White Rose with the use of this now universal symbol of resistance.
We will not be silent.
